Son lux

One of the most brilliant and unknown musicians of our time Son lux, has been sorrounded by music since the age of three. By the age of 9, Ryan Lott, would come to learn classical piano, guitar and a certain interest for jazz drums. Over the years he would maintain the musical path working as a composer for an ad agency but it is not until he wins a songwriting contest that he gains the chance to play next to Sufjan Stevens and Emmylou Harris. Son lux has been for the last year or two remixing for a few artists such as Beirut and My Brightest Diamond but finally has come out with his Ep Weapons which is a mixture of classical music, jazzy horns sections mixed with dark electronic sounds.
