This contest hosted by the Puerto Rico Film Comission is based on the creation of a short film script. The length of the short can only be of that of 5 minutes. The theme of the short film is LOVE. aww and the grand prize total is 5,000, so get to crackin' people.

Tennis

Patrick and Alaina bought a boat together and sailed around the ocean. They dodged freighters, wade squalls, swam ashore in the bahamas, ate at restaurants with names like “Spanky’s,” and got married. With no destination in mind, the trip led them to the songs heard on this recording.

Son lux

One of the most brilliant and unknown musicians of our time Son lux, has been sorrounded by music since the age of three. By the age of 9, Ryan Lott, would come to learn classical piano, guitar and a certain interest for jazz drums. Over the years he would maintain the musical path working as a composer for an ad agency but it is not until he wins a songwriting contest that he gains the chance to play next to Sufjan Stevens and Emmylou Harris. Son lux has been for the last year or two remixing for a few artists such as Beirut and My Brightest Diamond but finally has come out with his Ep Weapons which is a mixture of classical music, jazzy horns sections mixed with dark electronic sounds. Have a listen and enjoy.

Broken Social Scenes always come in pairs

Broken Social Scene has come out with two new albums, first an Ep entitled "Lo-Fi For The Dividing Nights". This album as the title suggests is composed of ten tracks, mostly lo-fi instrumental compositions that tend to not surpass the simplistic yet beautiful melody's that give such an ambiance to this record.

Broken's second album is titled "Forgiveness rock record". This record has really some diverse tracks like Texico, Forced to Love and World sick. Pretty good album, even though it, you forgot it in people will always be my favorite album by broken social scene.

Mr. Flash better know as Guilles Bousquet released his first EP under his label, Lust Island in 2001. His discography includes Le Voyage Fantastique, Monsieur Sexe, Champions / Disco Dynamit and his newest realease Blood, Sweat & Tears. I've been playing this album non stop. If your a fan of 80's synths, fat beats, and old school soul music, you should give Blood, Sweat and Tears.
